Vini, Meet World
Vini is on your VDP and on every shared report. Shoppers get answers on the car in front of them. You get the topics, considerations, and research behind the next conversation.
Release Overview
Vini is live. In the Carvia app on your VDP, and on every report you send, shoppers can ask the car the questions they used to take somewhere else — and your team can see what they asked before you pick up the phone.
Vini lives inside the Carvia app on the vehicle page. It is not a separate application. Shoppers ask about the car they are already looking at — warranty, towing, a Saturday visit — and get answers grounded in that VIN's report. Your dealership gets the topics they asked, the considerations they are weighing, and the research they did on this car, ready for the next conversation.
The Problem We Solved
The page that cannot answer loses the shopper. The conversation that dies in the browser leaves your team guessing.
Shoppers leave the VDP for Google, Reddit, and third-party sites when the listing cannot answer “Is the remaining warranty enough for my commute?” or “Can this tow what I need?” or “Are you open Saturday?” Your website analytics can show a pageview. They cannot show that this shopper was weighing warranty, towing, or a Saturday visit.
Until now, even when chat kept them on your page, the words of that conversation died with the browser tab. Your team called cold. The shopper had already done the research. You had no transcript, no topics, and no briefing for the next conversation.
Where Shoppers Meet Vini
Same Vini. Two places your shoppers already are: on your VDP, and on every report you send.
On your VDP — inside the Carvia app
Above the score, shoppers see Looking for specifics? with five suggested questions plus Ask anything. Suggested answers are ready for that VIN. Typed follow-ups are answered live from the report already on the page — score, insights, specs, warranty, costs, and history. When a reply invites a handoff, Connect with our team opens the same path your dealership already uses to capture interest. Vini does not invent a phone number or book a visit; the handoff is your team.
On a shared page — the same application
Send a car with Get My Full Report, and Vini is on that shared report too. The conversation is filed under the person the page was sent to, so your team can open the transcript next to the named share — not as a faceless session.
Desktop first on the VDP
On the dealer vehicle page, the Vini strip is built for desktop browsing. Suggested questions and Ask anything appear at medium breakpoints and up. On a shared page, shoppers get the same application experience for that vehicle report.
What Your Team Can See
This is the part that changes the next phone call. Vini does not only keep shoppers on the page. It shows your team the topics they asked, the considerations they are weighing, and where the research is concentrating across your inventory.
Chats — conversations from your site and shared pages
Sign in at carvia.ai/client and open Chats. The workspace is titled for what it is: conversations from VDP embeds and shared pages. Filter by VIN, by surface (on your site vs. a shared page), by date, and by message text. Open any row for the full transcript — Shopper on one side, Vini on the other.
Topics — top questions across the rooftop
Top questions lists the exact things shoppers asked — the language they used, not a generic funnel label. That is how you see the topics driving research this week: remaining warranty, towing capacity, weekend availability, and the rest of the questions that used to leave your lot for someone else's answer.
Research areas — top VINs drawing conversation
Top VINs shows which cars are drawing the chats. Pair that with your inventory huddle: feature the units shoppers are already researching, and put time against the conversations that are already happening.
Considerations — Chat overview and Vini chat briefing
On a named share, the share detail includes a Chat overview: a short synopsis of what this customer asked and what Vini answered — the considerations they are already working through. On a lead that comes from Connect with our team on your VDP, the CRM comment can include a Vini chat briefing that ends with one or two next steps: call back about the specific concern, confirm a fact Vini could not answer, or offer the visit they asked for.
Anonymous on your site, named on a share
Conversations that start on your VDP stay anonymous in Chats: time, VIN, host, and the transcript. Conversations on a shared page say Sent to {name} and link to that share. If the link is forwarded, the transcript is still filed under the person your team sent the page to — so follow-up stays tied to the lead you already own.
The Next Conversation
Visibility only matters if it changes the next phone call. Here is how sales teams use Vini day to day.
Open the overview or the transcript
Pull up Chat overview on the share, or open the transcript in Chats. Know what they already asked. Start where they left off. Do not make them repeat the research they already did with Vini.
Cover the gap, not the ground already walked
If Vini already answered warranty coverage, go deeper on the visit, the trade, or the next step. If a reply failed, the briefing says so — so you do not assume a concern was covered when it was not.
Top questions and top VINs this week
Managers can walk the floor with the same evidence: which questions shoppers are asking, and which cars are drawing the research. That is merchandising and coaching from real conversations, not Monday anecdotes.
Value by Role
For sales professionals and BDC
- Named share, named research — Chat overview tells you what this buyer already asked before you dial
- VDP leads with a briefing — Vini chat briefing in the lead comments ends with the next step, not a blank script
- Conversation starters with proof — “I see you were asking Vini about remaining warranty on the Camry”
Scenario: Casey opens the shared Camry report and asks about towing and Saturday hours. You open Chat overview, call with those two topics ready, and skip the generic be-back script.
For general managers and sales managers
- Topics you can coach against — top questions show what shoppers are actually researching this week
- Inventory heat with conversation — top VINs show which cars deserve huddle time and social creative
- Huddle-ready examples — pull a transcript into the morning meeting instead of debating what buyers care about
Scenario: Top questions this week cluster on warranty and ownership cost. You coach the floor to lead with those answers on the lot and in follow-up — not with a generic feature dump.
For internet and marketing directors
- Research themes site analytics cannot see — GA4 still owns anonymous traffic; Chats owns what people asked about the car
- Complementary to share visibility — Client Dashboard answers who opened and when; Vini answers what they were asking
- Inventory storytelling — feature VINs with rising chat volume in paid and social creative
