Shared Pages Wear Your Brand
Shared pages now carry the same Carvia app colors, Pantones, and dealer logo as your VDP — so every report you send feels like your store, not a third-party handoff.
Release Overview
When your team sends a Carvia report, the shopper should still feel like they are with your dealership. Shared pages now wear your brand — the same colors, Pantones, and logo as the Carvia app on your VDP.
The shared report is no longer a Carvia-looking island after the text. It inherits the Carvia app theme from the originating vehicle page: brand primary and secondary, light or dark chrome, and your dealer logo in the header. Every send becomes an extension of your shopper experience — not a third-party handoff.
The Problem We Solved
Your VDP could already look like your store. The report you sent often did not.
Dealers invested in Carvia app theming so the experience on the vehicle page matched brand colors and chrome. Then a salesperson sent Get My Full Report — and the shared page opened in default Carvia blues, with a Carvia mark where the dealer logo should be. Shoppers felt the seam. Marketing noticed. Sales had to explain that yes, this was still from your store.
A shared page that does not wear your brand is not an extension of the visit. It is a detour. Continuity after the send is the difference between “here is our report on this car” and “here is someone else's tool.”
What's New
Shared pages resolve the same Carvia app theme layers used on the originating dealer domain — then paint the share chrome accordingly.
Theme pass-through from your VDP
When a shopper opens a shared report, Carvia reads the host of the vehicle page that started the send and applies that domain's theme: primary and secondary brand colors, surfaces, corner radius, and light or dark chrome. The header gradient, sticky section rail, report stack, and page canvas all follow those tokens — so the whole page feels like your storefront, not a strip of brand on a foreign background.
Dealer logo on the share header
Upload your logo in the theme builder (domain logo when set, otherwise your client default). On the shared page, that mark replaces the Carvia logo in the dealer header. Shoppers see your identity first — {Dealer} shared this report with you — with your Pantones on the banner beside it.
Cohesive canvas for light and dark
The page background resolves from your theme so light stores stay bright and dark chrome stays intentional. The shared experience is one composition in your brand, not a default canvas with themed pieces dropped on top.
Accurate to the domain that sent the car
Theme comes from the originating VDP host (then the contact VDP if needed). One-off snippet overrides on a single embed are not applied to shares — the shared page mirrors the domain theme your portal already owns. If the host cannot be matched, the page falls back to light defaults rather than painting another rooftop's brand. Score and status colors stay Carvia-owned so trust signals stay consistent.
Why It Matters on the Floor
Brand continuity is not decoration. It is trust after the send.
The report still feels like your store
Shoppers already researched on your VDP. The share should look like the next step with you — same Pantones, same logo — so they stay in your story while they read score, insights, and warranty.
Works with the visibility you already have
Client Dashboard still tells you who opened and when. Vini still shows what they asked. Now the page they are looking at is unmistakably yours while that research happens.
Send without apologizing for the look
Sales teams stop prefacing the link with “ignore the branding — it is still our report.” Marketing gets the brand they already approved on the VDP, carried through to every outbound share.
Value by Role
For sales professionals and BDC
- Send with pride — the shared report looks like your dealership, not a generic third-party page
- Stay in the conversation — shoppers recognize your logo when they reopen the car that night
- Same motion, better finish — still send with Get My Full Report; the brand follows automatically
Scenario: You text Casey the Camry report after the drive. She opens it and sees your logo and brand colors before the score. The page feels like your store continued — not a detour.
For general managers and marketing
- Pantones preserved — primary and secondary from your Carvia app theme carry onto every share
- Logo where it belongs — your mark leads the header on the report your team sends
- One brand system — stop maintaining a VDP look and a separate “good enough” share look
Scenario: Your group runs dark chrome and a specific blue/cyan pair on the site. Shared pages now open in that same chrome so brand reviews pass without a carve-out for outbound links.
For internet and digital directors
- One theme setup — domain theme in the client portal covers the Carvia app on the VDP and the shared report
- Upload once — logo at domain or client level; shares prefer the most specific logo you set
- Predictable resolution — shares follow the domain theme, not a one-off snippet tweak on a single page
Getting Started
If Shared Vehicle Pages and a domain theme are already live, send a report from a VDP on that domain and open the link — your brand should already be on the page.
- Sign in at carvia.ai/client with your dealership Carvia account.
- Open domain theme settings and confirm primary, secondary, and light or dark chrome for the site that hosts your VDPs.
- Upload your dealer logo for that domain (or as the client default). Save.
- Send a report from a live VDP on that domain with Get My Full Report.
- Open the shared link and confirm the header shows your logo and brand colors across the page — not default Carvia chrome.
The Carvia app on your VDP already knew your brand. Shared pages now extend that same identity to every report your team sends.
