Share Activity by Salesperson
Client Dashboard reporting now attributes share activity to the right sales team members — so My shares, the leaderboard, search, and export name who sent the car and who should call the shopper back.
Release Overview
Dashboard reporting now names the salesperson behind each share — so activity on the floor shows up as team member performance, not a pile of sender addresses.
The Client Dashboard already showed what shoppers opened and when. This release tightens attribution so My shares, the leaderboard, search, and export resolve that activity to the right people on your sales team.
Managers get clearer coaching views. Salespeople see their own sends under their name. When a teammate also uses another allowed dealership email, they can verify it once so those sends roll into the same person.
The Problem We Solved
Share volume without clear ownership is hard to coach.
The Client Dashboard could show that shares were going out and that shoppers were opening them. What managers needed next was clearer reporting on which sales team members drove that activity — whose sends earned opens, who should own the follow-up, and how the rooftop's outbound motion breaks down by person.
Without strong attribution, sender lists and leaderboards were harder to read as team performance. Search and export leaned on addresses instead of the salesperson your managers already know by name.
What's New
Attribution resolves share activity to the salesperson on your team — then shows that person everywhere the dashboard reports a sender.
Clearer team reporting on Shares and the leaderboard
The shares table, share detail, and sender leaderboard show the attributed salesperson when a send matches a portal team member. Volume, opens, and engaged counts read as people on your roster — clearer for coaching, recognition, and follow-up ownership.
Name search and lead export
Search by a salesperson's name to find their shares. Lead export carries the attributed representative so CRM handoff and manager reviews name the person behind the activity, not only a raw address.
Optional share identity aliases on Profile
If a teammate also sends from another allowed dealership email, they can open Profile, add that address under Share identity aliases, and confirm the verification code. Domains must match your dealership's seller verification rules. Verified aliases roll into the same person for My shares and leaderboard totals.
Sends that do not match a portal user
When a seller email has no portal match, the dashboard still shows the name the sender typed instead of a bare address. Attribution sharpens reporting for team members on the roster; unmatched sends stay readable.
Insights You Can Use on the Floor
Clearer attribution only matters if it changes how you coach and who dials next. Here is how teams use it day to day.
Read the leaderboard as people
Morning huddles can pull top senders as sales team members — share volume and engaged counts ready for coaching, without extra work to figure out who owns which activity.
Hand the call to the sender
When Casey opens the Camry for the fourth time, Shares already names who sent that report. The follow-up owner is the salesperson who put the car in the shopper's hands.
Work your own pipeline with confidence
Salespeople filter to My shares and see the sends attributed to them. Hot unique-open counts stay attached to the person who should follow up.
Value by Role
For sales professionals and BDC
- My shares reflects your work — activity attributed to you is the pipeline you own
- Credit matches the send — the leaderboard shows you as a team member, not a fragmented address list
- Own the follow-up — when a shopper reopens your report, the dashboard already points to you
Scenario: You send the Camry, Casey opens it four times, and My shares lists those opens under your name so you call while the research is still warm.
For general managers and sales managers
- Clearer team reporting — coaching and recognition use salespeople, not ambiguous sender rows
- Clear follow-up ownership — share detail names who should dial when opens spike
- Honest outbound volume — leaderboard totals roll up by person for fair coaching
Scenario: Overview shows three top senders as three people on your team. You coach engaged vs. sent without guessing who owns which activity.
For internet and marketing directors
- Search by the person — find a salesperson's shares by name
- Cleaner export — lead files name the attributed representative for CRM and reporting
- Complements share visibility — Client Dashboard shows who opened and when; attribution shows which teammate sent it
Getting Started
If Shared Vehicle Pages are already enabled, attributed team reporting is live in your dashboard. Add an alias only if a teammate also sends from another allowed dealership email.
- Sign in at carvia.ai/client with your dealership Carvia account.
- Open Shares and Overview — confirm senders resolve to sales team members on the list and leaderboard.
- Optional: open Profile, find Share identity aliases, and add another allowed dealership email if you also send from that address.
- Confirm the verification code Carvia emails to that address. The domain must match your dealership's seller verification rules.
- Recheck Shares and the leaderboard — activity from that address should roll under the same person, and My shares should include it.
Shared pages already tell you what a named shopper is researching. With salesperson attribution, dashboard reporting also makes clear which sales team member sent the car — and who should pick up the phone.
