Fixed-Price Monthly Billing — Predictable Pricing for Every Rooftop
Carvia now bills a fixed monthly rate for individual dealership websites — $1,495 per month — with custom volume-based pricing for automotive groups, multi-rooftop deployments, and shared-inventory sites.
Release Overview
Carvia now uses a fixed-price monthly billing model — a single, predictable rate for an individual dealership website, with custom pricing for automotive groups, multi-rooftop deployments, and shared-inventory sites.
This is a commercial update, not a product rebuild. The widgets on your VDPs do not change. What changes is how Carvia is billed: one monthly line item for a standard rooftop site, instead of a usage-shaped bill that moved with inventory activity. Groups and shared-inventory deployments keep a custom conversation — with volume-based incentives that reflect how those sites actually operate.
The published Base rate is $1,495 per month for an individual dealership website. That rate covers the full Carvia experience on that site: VIN-intelligent merchandising on every VDP, not a metered lookup. Custom pricing remains available for group-level websites, multi-rooftop rollouts, and sites that display inventory from more than one rooftop.
The Problem We Solved
Carvia is a rooftop-wide merchandising layer. Billing should look like that — not like a meter on every VIN.
The forecasting problem
GMs and controllers need a VDP tool they can put on a budget. When cost moved with inventory activity, the monthly number was harder to defend in an OpEx review — even when the product was clearly working. A fixed monthly rate for an individual dealership website makes Carvia a line item, not a variable.
The rooftop-vs-lookup mismatch
Carvia is not a per-report lookup. It sits on every vehicle detail page: score, buyer-fit insights, valuation, history, ownership cost, and AI chat. The value shows up across the lot — more time on page, more prepared buyers, more leads from the traffic you already buy. A commercial model that treated each VIN as a separate billable event did not match how dealers actually use the product.
The group and shared-inventory gap
Automotive groups, multi-rooftop deployments, and sites that display inventory from multiple rooftops do not fit a single published rate. Those deployments need custom pricing — and volume-based incentives — so the commercial conversation matches how inventory, domains, and rooftops are actually structured.
What's New
Two published tracks — matching the pricing section on carvia.ai — and the same product dealers already run on their VDPs.
Fixed monthly Base rate
Individual dealership websites are billed at $1,495 per month. That is the standard rooftop rate: one site, one monthly invoice, full Carvia on the VDPs that site serves.
Custom pricing for groups and shared inventory
Automotive groups, multi-rooftop deployments, and sites displaying inventory from multiple rooftops have custom available pricing with volume-based incentives. Preferred group pricing, a dedicated account manager, SLA and uptime guarantees, and custom integration support remain part of that conversation.
The full rooftop experience, not a usage meter
Base includes the same merchandising layer published on our pricing section: plain-language pricing, history, and condition; VIN data interpreted into buyer-friendly context; shoppers kept on the VDP; fewer repetitive questions and objections; better buyer-to-vehicle fit; and help selling faster without discounting.
No implementation fee to start
There are no implementation fees and no long-term contract required to start. We would rather earn the rooftop than lock it. Existing live embeds do not need a reinstall — this update is billing, not a new snippet.
How Pricing Works
If you can point to a single dealership website, you are on Base. If inventory, rooftops, or domains are shared across a group, you are on custom.
Base — individual dealership websites
$1,495 per month for one dealership website. This is the published rate for a standard rooftop site: your VDPs, your inventory, one commercial relationship. The product on the page is unchanged — widget carousel, score, insights, valuation, history, and AI chat still load as they do today.
Automotive Group — custom pricing
Use this track when any of the following is true:
- You are an automotive group rolling Carvia out across multiple rooftops
- You need a multi-rooftop deployment with coordinated domains, branding, or reporting
- You run a shared-inventory site — group-level websites or pages that display vehicles from more than one rooftop
Those deployments get custom pricing with volume-based incentives. Contact sales for a quote that matches rooftop count, shared inventory, and how your sites are structured.
The Value Behind the Model
This note is not a price justification. It is a notice of the commercial update — and a reminder that the rooftop-level outcomes we already publish are why a fixed monthly rate is the right structure.
Carvia earns its place on the VDP by changing what happens after the click: shoppers stay longer, ask fewer questions the page cannot answer, and convert more of the traffic you already pay for. Those are rooftop outcomes. They do not accrue per VIN lookup. A fixed monthly bill for an individual dealership website is the commercial shape of that fact.
The figures below are the same ones on our landing page and in published dealer case studies — representative of what we see when Carvia replaces the default VDP experience, not a spreadsheet that reverse-engineers $1,495.
Those lifts are from Lavery Automotive — the same +75% / +43% / +20% table on the Carvia homepage. Engagement time per session also rose 39%. More time on page is the leading indicator; leads and conversions are the proof.
At Grubbs Hyundai Wichita Falls, used-VDP engagement time rose 75% and session duration rose 29% as part of a four-store group pilot. Across that pilot, average engagement time per VDP session increased at least 18%. On the floor, the sales conversation changed too: when buyers already know the market comparisons, the team describes the deal as done about 90% of the time — they come in to test-drive and go straight to numbers.
Value by Role
For general managers and dealer principals
- A line item you can forecast — $1,495 per month for an individual dealership website
- Value at the rooftop, not the lookup — billed the same way the product actually works
- No surprise setup tax — no implementation fees or long-term contract required to start
For marketing and internet directors
- Full merchandising on every VDP — no reason to ration the widget because a VIN might “cost extra”
- Same published story as the homepage — engagement, lead, and conversion lifts you can brief leadership on
- Proof in the inbox — weekly and monthly impact reports still show whether the rooftop is moving
For automotive group operators
- Custom pricing with volume-based incentives — built for multi-rooftop and shared-inventory deployments
- Dedicated account management — plus SLA, uptime, and custom integration support
- One commercial conversation for the group structure you actually have — not a rate card that assumes one website, one lot
Getting Started
If Carvia is already live on your VDPs, nothing on the page needs to be reinstalled. This is a billing update.
- Individual dealership websites — the published Base rate is $1,495 per month. Confirm with your Carvia account team how the new model applies to your agreement.
- Automotive groups, multi-rooftop, or shared-inventory sites — request custom pricing. Volume-based incentives apply; your account team will quote against rooftop count and how inventory is displayed.
- New to Carvia? Review the pricing section on carvia.ai, walk through a sample report, and book time with the team to go live on your VDPs.
- Already measuring impact? Keep using weekly impact emails and your own GA4/CRM data — the commercial model changed; the proof stack did not.
